Step by Step Process of Relocations

Next finalize your list of belongings to be shipped and arrange for a garage sale to dispose of your non-shipped items.

Having listed down which of your belongings will actually come with you, contact your Emerald Relocations and discuss list of items and they can help you to determine how much volume your shipment converts to, which also determines your shipping rates.

Step 4

Emerald Relocations will provide you with a quote and other documentation. It is imperative that you begin to take care of all your required documentation as soon as possible. This includes visa applications, passport renewals, customs forms and change of address notices.

Step 5

You’ve set the date for your move and send us the confirmation with payment along with the required documents.

Step 6

Before moving day, set aside all those items that you do not wish to be packed in the shipment. This would include your passport and other important documents, tickets, money, and jewelry among other things

Step 7

Emerald’s team of Relocation specialists will arrive at your place of origin for packing (if required) and on moving day, make sure that you (or your authorized representative) are there for the whole duration of the packing and loading, so you can verify your belongings based on your belongings the packing inventory, as well as answer any questions that our relocation team might have.

Step 8

Emerald Relocations takes care of Custom clearance & documentation at Origin and Ocean freight or airfreight from port to port

Step 9

Once you arrive in your new home, contact Emerald relocations to arrange the delivery of your belongings and start getting settled as soon as possible. We offer services in home and school searches, as well as orientation tours, cross-cultural training and more.

Step 10

Emerald Relocations team will ensure proper delivery of your belongings after processing Custom clearance & documentation at destination location.

Step 11

Once you've selected in your new house and made all the necessary arrangements, it's time for delivery of your belongings! Our expert relocations team will make sure that there is no confusion over where things go. After they have finished, they will even remove the packing materials left behind.
